Do you give any discounts?
We require a non-refundable 50% retainer at your time of booking. All payments can be made through an online invoice I will send to your email.
A 3.5% processing fee will be required if you pay through that invoice specifically, but if you have Zelle you can just send me your payment that way and bypass that fee!
How do we pay you?
As parents and future ministry-focused individuals, we’re growing our family and planning a move west within the next 5-10 years. For these reasons, we only accept bookings up to 1 year in advance. However, feel free to reach out and connect with us before the 1-year mark. Once we hit that 1-year date, you can make your payment, and we’ll lock in your date to ensure your day is fully reserved.

I recommend choosing outfits that reflect your personal style while complementing each other. Avoid overly bold patterns or logos, as they can distract from the moment. Neutral, coordinated colors tend to photograph beautifully, creating a timeless and cohesive look. Feel free to reach out if you’d like more guidance on outfit choices!
What should we wear for our engagement session?
For weddings, you can expect around 50 photos for every hour of coverage. My husband and I both shoot the whole time, and select the best of our work that allows us to tell the story of your day! For engagements and sessions, you can expect a minimum of 75 photos total.
Once you’re booked, we’ll have a conversation about all the important moments and shots you’d like to document. While I appreciate your input, you don’t need to provide a detailed shot list. We’ll ensure we capture the essence of your day while staying flexible to those special, unscripted moments.
Can we give you a shot list?
Absolutely! We’ll work with you to create a customized timeline for your wedding day. We’ll go over all the key events and details, and share suggestions based on our experience to ensure everything flows smoothly and you get the most out of your photography coverage.
Can you help us with our timeline?
For weddings, you can expect your fully edited gallery within 3 months of your event. A sneak peek of a few highlight photos will be delivered within 1 week. For engagement sessions, the full gallery will be delivered within 1 month, with a sneak peek available within 2 days.

We understand that plans can change! If you need to cancel your wedding, please let us know at least 30 days before your scheduled date. While the retainer is non-refundable, any additional payments you’ve made will be partially refunded, with 50% retained if the cancellation is less than 30 days out. For rescheduling, if you give us at least 3 months’ notice, your retainer can be applied to a new date within the same calendar year, and there’s just a $100 rescheduling fee. If it’s less than 3 months or if you’re moving the date to a new calendar year, we’ll need a new retainer and the rescheduling fee.
For late arrivals, we’ll make the most of the remaining time but aren’t able to extend the session.
What if we cancel or reschedule our session or wedding?
Absolutely! I love seeing your favorite moments shared. Please make sure to tag @beckapayauys on all social media posts so others can easily find my account. Additionally, as stated in the contract, please do not edit, add filters, change to black & white, or crop the images in any way.
Can we share the photos on social media?
No. RAW images are like chocolate chip cookies without the chocolate chips... haha! But in all seriousness, a RAW image is a file that is created to be edited and will only open if you have the right software to open it. We only deliver fully edited JPEGs because we believe that shooting is just half the job. Editing is where we really get to bring those images to life.

Do you offer albums or prints?
Yes, we offer album design services for both wedding albums and engagement albums, which are perfect for guest books. We work with an amazing company to completely customize an album to your liking. They are just... wow - truly stunning. I can show you the one that Aaron and I designed from our own wedding! I'd love to collaborate with you to design an album!
For prints, your online gallery will feature a print shop where you can easily order from my personal favorite print companies. While you’re welcome to download and order prints from anywhere, I highly recommend ordering from your gallery to ensure the best quality.
